What Top100Hub does
Top100Hub publishes current Top 100 lists that help readers compare what is popular across entertainment, news, technology, finance, sports, travel, and websites. Each chart links to the original destination or an authoritative listing so readers can verify what they see.
How the rankings are created
FluxCrawler records attempts to retrieve approved sources. FluxCore normalizes names, removes duplicate and irrelevant entries, confirms eligibility, and separates sources that support an item from sources that were checked but did not match it. FluxRank publishes complete charts and records immutable, versioned snapshots.
Most charts are ordered by current popularity. News articles are ordered by current reader attention and coverage. Sports-player charts use official statistics, while Finance & Money charts use the financial metric named on the page. Movement compares the current position with a stored earlier snapshot.
FluxScore is a whole-number rating showing how trustworthy the evidence behind an entry is. It considers how many reliable sources support it, whether they agree, how current they are, and where the information came from. For sports statistics, an official league or trusted statistics source may be enough. FluxScore does not measure popularity or decide rankings, and community opinions cannot change it.
FluxScore support is labeled Strong, Good, Developing or Preliminary. Strong support normally requires at least three independent supporting datasets, current traceable evidence and clear agreement. Outside Sports and Finance & Money, popularity determines rank: two or more sources are preferred, but a reputable current single-source item can qualify and is shown with the corresponding evidence confidence. For player-statistics charts, a complete official league or trusted statistics feed can be enough because it is the direct source for the published points. A temporary source failure cannot replace a complete chart with an incomplete list.
Why the site exists
The goal is to provide one inspectable overview instead of copying a single publisher’s list. Cross-source comparison makes disagreements visible, reduces the influence of one provider, and gives readers a practical starting point for further research.
Trust and editorial standards
- Charts identify the reputable datasets they compare and show when each ranking was last checked.
- Entries show evidence summaries, supporting and missing sources, public metrics, source positions and known limitations when stored and permitted.
- Community voting is advisory and changes neither rank nor FluxScore.
- Wikipedia is not used as a ranking source, and unlawful download discovery is excluded.
- Finance and market charts are informational and are not investment advice.
Updates and corrections
The crawler checks inputs hourly, although each source keeps its own publication schedule. Top100Hub distinguishes the last source check, successful data refresh, material ranking change and source publication date. Material methodology changes receive a new version and historical snapshots keep the version that produced them.
To report a factual, entity, attribution or eligibility error, email the site operator with the affected Top100Hub URL, entry and supporting evidence. Confirmed material corrections are recorded in the public change log; historical records are never silently rewritten.
Affiliate and sponsorship independence
Affiliates, sponsors, advertisers and premium customers cannot buy placement, inclusion, rank, confidence or movement. Any paid or affiliate relationship must be labeled beside the relevant link or module. Commercial fields are kept outside ranking inputs. Top100Hub will never sell ranking placement.
Privacy
Top100Hub minimizes collection. Product analytics uses random browser and session identifiers that are salted and hashed on receipt. For aggregate traffic and country reporting, the server converts the connection address into a one-way identifier that changes daily, derives a two-letter country code locally, and then discards the readable address from application analytics. It stores page paths and allowlisted actions such as chart views, explanation opens and follows—not raw IP addresses, email addresses, search queries, full referrers, free text or user-agent strings. Standard security logs remain subject to short server log rotation. A local watchlist remains in the visitor's browser and can be cleared at any time.
IP geolocation by DB-IP. The local country database provides approximate country-level reporting only; it is not used to identify or precisely locate visitors.
Newsletter addresses are used only for the requested double-opt-in email service. Every message supports one-click unsubscribe. Clearing browser site data removes local preferences.
High-stakes charts
Stocks, cryptocurrency, currencies, wealth comparisons and business coverage are informational only. Market value and attention never mean investment merit. These charts are not personalized advice or “best” recommendations and are not promoted as the primary product before specialist review and stronger category-specific evidence.
